"Why'd July?" Season 1 is going to officially start regardless of the obstacles that get placed in our way this time. The first one is going to be number 7 in the series but I wanted to share the impact of this documentary in particular due to how close Spike Lee and I are and never met...lol.

Mr. Alex Haley's "Dialogue with Black Film Makers" is a NEVER seen before documentaries and that actually includes the people who were being interviewed by the Honorable Mr. Alex Haley and his courage that he must of had to put the documentary series together.
The first one is is Mr. Spike Lee and I watched the V.H.S. and it changed my life and immediately drew me to watch ALL of the documentaries back to back in a binge session that I will never be able to quantify the magnatude of the impact of the Spike Lee one alone when him and Alex Haley going back and forth about Malcolm in his last days and a narrative of a man that you heard of speaking about parts of his life that you never heard from ANYONE who was reputable as I am coming into a better OVERstanding of the whole picture.
